BFFs that have spent more time apart than together
Writing became our go-to medium when our young lives got separated. While we did email each other from time to time, our favourite way of communication was handwriting letters to each other.
Many years later, we are embarking on a joint project to bring our love of writing to others out there. Having supplies we love makes us enjoy writing a little bit more. We will create and curate various stationery items - from customised paper to seals and many more - to add to our growing little store.
We aim to bring a smile to you as you prepare the letter and your recipient.
About Joy & Jane
We - Joy (J1) and Jane (J2) - have been friends since we were 10years old. For most of our adult life, we have lived on different continents. This definitely drove our letter writing habits as we wrote to each other regularly. The distance never seemed to be an issue - we just pick up wherever we left off from. From gossip, chitchats and serious topics that we needed our BFF for.
While we bonded over food, writing, dogs (we both have pawkids!), crafting (J1 likes cross-stitch and J2 is the knitting fiend), and most recently binge-watching Netflix series together, our differences are like black and white.
J1 dreams of owning a Volkwagen campervan one day to explore the great outdoors while J2 prefers the comforts of her home!
And now, we are embarking on our new crazy idea together born from the love of writing. Who says you can't run a business from two different time zones!
